We have a 15 day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return, DISCLAIMER: You Fancy Optical is NOT a try before you buy company. We strongly discourage purchases frames for this purpose. We are a boutique eyewear store with limited inventory. Returns will be considered at our discretion. Frames that have incorrect prescription issues due no fault of your own have first priority. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. This return policy does NOT include prescription custom frames. 

To start a return, you can contact us with in the 15 day time frame. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Customers who have prescription issues due to a incorrect data entry issue at time of ordering are eligible for a replacement, however will be subject to a reproduction fee. 


If you don’t like the item(s) received, whether the style, the color, or the coatings, please contact us within 10 days of receiving. We are willing to provide a special discount for you to try another style. We also accept a return with restocking fees applied. You may choose to get a 25% refund (excluding shipping) to the same credit/debit or PayPal account or a 50% store credit (excluding shipping) to your registered account with You Fancy Optical, this does NOT include prescription frames.


Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Frames with a prescription lens is considered a medical device and it can not returned or resold. This is considered a personal care item. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If there is a problem with your prescription due incorrect input during ordering we will happily reproduce your frame. There is a reproduction fee up to $75, to produce your frames. Frames with higher prescriptions may be subject to higher fees. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
